As a Catholic school, the act of serving others is an important lesson we want to impart to our students.
- Our 5th – 8th grade students are asked to give back to their community and perform community service hours in their school, church and greater community.
- In partnership with Sacred Heart Community Service, our 7th and 8th grade students and their parents have an opportunity to serve close to 350 families throughout the year. The students help by sorting, packing and distributing food and clothing in the Sacred Heart Food Pantry and Clothing Closet. Programs are offered monthly on the minimum day Wednesdays for two hours in the afternoon.
Throughout the year, Holy Spirit School encourages student and family participation in our Community Outreach Projects (COPS) as an opportunity to help those that are less fortunate. Working in tandem with Holy Spirit Church, we work as a community to make a difference in our local, regional and national community through our COPS.
