Student Council at Holy Spirit School is an elected group of students in 6th to 8th grade consisting of nine members guided by a faculty moderator. The purpose of Student Council is to enable the students to cultivate leadership, organization and communication skills. Each council member is responsible for assigned duties as provided for in the Holy Spirit School Student Council Constitution. The Student Council is comprised of a president, vice president, secretary-treasurer and commissioners of religious affairs, athletics, safety & ecology, spirit, publicity & PR and the historian. Each student council member is paired with a faculty mentor to work with throughout the school year.
Student Council also plans rallies, dances and take an active role in helping the student body live out the Gospel values through encouraging students to share their God-given gifts. Our goal at Holy Spirit School is to provide our students with skills to become the future Catholic Christian leaders of tomorrow.
