Thank you all so much for supporting our Legacy Fund campaign this year. The fund was founded by Father Murray as a means to provide children the opportunity to receive a Catholic education, that otherwise would not be able to. And for the past 20 years, our Holy Spirit community of faith leaders, parishioners, teachers, and parents have worked to help carry out that mission – nurturing and guiding hundreds of students with the pillars of Faith. Knowledge. Community. This campaign is an opportunity to carry forward this incredible legacy and we appreciate anything you are able to give during this time.

 

I have always believed it takes a village to raise our children and for the past three years, I feel so fortunate to have been a part of the Holy Spirit village. This community means so much to my family and joining the SAB as Fundraising chair, this year, was one small way in which I hope I can give back and contribute to this incredible foundation. For all of us, this past year has brought on a lot of uncertainty – but through it all, I was constantly lifted up by the friendships with other parents and teachers, the strength + comfort + faith provided by Father Ritche and Father Edgar – and the resilience of all our amazing kiddos.

 

During this Advent season we are preparing for so many things; preparing for Jesus, preparing for Santa, preparing endless meals and desserts – and hopefully preparing for Playoff Football (Go Niners! … or Bears, I guess). Let us also come together and prepare together for future generations.
